Cheryl lands US X Factor?

Cheryl Cole has been offered a judging role on the upcoming American version of the X factor, the Sun reports. Sources say Cheryl has been offered a £3million one-year deal after impressing US TV executives in a series of meetings both in the US and in London over the last few weeks.
Earlier this year, Simon Cowell announced he was leaving his judging role on American Idol to launch his own show, the X Factor on US network Fox in 2011. It’s said his on screen relationship with Cheryl was one of the deciding factors in her being offered the job.
"She has really charmed the American execs. They love her good looks and the way she wears her heart on her sleeve,” an insider claimed. “And of course her chemistry with Simon played a huge part in it. They are great together."
Sources say that, while Cheryl hasn’t yet signed the deal, she is planning to use the job to help launch her music career in America and has already secured a deal to release her new album, Messy Little Raindrops, next year.
"It's a dream come true," a friend of Cole added. “Cheryl was absolutely delighted."
Not surprising, we can think of three million reasons why we’d be delighted too.
