Cheryl Cole ‘looked bewildered’
Simon Cowell has admitted that Cheryl Cole 'looked bewildered' on the US X Factor judging panel, and that led to her being kicked off the show.
You’d think that Simon Cowell would learn to just keep schtum about the whole thing for fear of upsetting Cheryl Cole again. But no. This time the TV mogul has been opening up to Piers Morgan about Cheryl Cole's shock US X Factor exit. Couldn’t have anything to do with the fact that the US show’s just about to premiere though could it?
Appearing on Piers’ American chatshow alongside fellow X Factor judge, and Cheryl’s successor, Nicole Scherzinger, Morgan asked Cowell the real reason Cheryl had left.
“I was talking to someone about this at the screening the other night and they put it very well. She looked a bit bewildered. Not everyone’s like you Piers. You come to a country like America and it’s a big deal, it takes a while to adjust.”
“I took the view, along with a few other people, that she would have been more comfortable back in the UK.”
Poor Cheryl, it must be horrible having everyone still talk about something that happened months ago. Of course, it doesn’t sound like she’s bothered about it anymore, if rumours that she’s going to return to the UK X Factor are anything to go by.
