Brit Award winners 2011
Tinie Tempah took home British Breakthough Act and British Single for Pass Out at last night's Brit Awards at the O2 Arena in London.
Two awards also went to Arcade Fire who received gongs for International Album and International Group. The band took to the stage and thanked British bandss that had 'completely changed their lives.
First up the Brits were flying the flag by celebrating the best in British film on Sunday night at the Baftas, and last night they were out in full force to celebrate the best in British music at the Brit Awards. Dame Vivienne Westwood was the designer of choice on the Brits red carpet , as well as designing this year's statue herself, and Plan B, Mumford and Sons and Take That performed.
Gossip from the event includes Katie Price and Peter Andre avoiding a massive showdown , and Cheryl Cole declaring her love for Rihanna. Fashion highlights

British Male Solo Artist
The first award, British Male Solo Artist, was presented to Plan B by Dizzee Rascal. Plan B later went onto perform his hit single She Said.
British Breakthrough Act
Tinie Tempah picked up the British Breakthrough Act gong, we thought it should have gone to The XX. But hey, we didn't vote.
International Album
Arcade Fire scored their first Brit Award when they picked up the International Album statue for their record The Suburbs. The eight piece stormed the stage and thanked the British bands that had completely changed their lives.
Critics Choice Awards
Jessie J was announced as the winner of the Critics Choice Award at the beginning of January, but gave a tearful speech on the night. We love the girl, and think the video for her single Price Tag says it all.
International Male Solo Artist
Forget You singer Cee Lo Green took home International Male Solo Artist. He performed his single Forget You with Paloma Faith at the end of the ceremony, breaking her dress in the middle of the act.
British Single
Tinie Tempah picked up his second award which was British Single for Pass Out.
International Group
Arcade Fire picked up their second Brit award of the night when they were presented with International Group.
International Breakthrough Act
To many girls delight, we're sure, Justin Bieber picked up International Breakthrough Act dragging his International Rep, Mike, up on stage.
British Female Solo Artist
Laura Marling picked up her first Brit tonight, which was also her first nomination, and said, 'There you go mum. That's for you...This is really weird."
British Group
Take That took home British Group with Mark Owen saying to Robbie Williams, "thanks for coming back mate."
International Female Solo Artist

Mastercard British Album Of The Year
And the winner of the biggest award of the night, British Album Of The Year, was Mumford and Sons. Sigh No More has sold over one million copies in the UK. The band will be supporting the night's other big winners, Arcade Fire, when they play in Hyde Park later in the year. The band said receiving the award was "bizarre and very strange".
