Big news for baby-making celebs

It's not all sad news in the land of stars this weekend - there might have been a whole lot of splits, but some of the few celeb couples staying together had baby news.
Kristin Cavallari - aka the girl that replaced Lauren Conrad on The Hills - has announced she's pregnant with Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler's baby.
The couple called off their engagement last July, but got back together in November, and now she's having a baby! See - even after a split, there can be some happy news. Phew.
She told People:
"We are thrilled to announce we are expecting our first child together. It's an amazing time in our life and we can't wait to meet the new addition to our growing family."
Meanwhile, The Help's Bryce Dallas Howard - aka daughter of uber-famous director Ron Howard - had a baby daughter at the end of last week, and left it up to her dad to make the announcement.
"Beatrice Jean Howard-Gabel Born Jan 19 2012 8lbs 6oz Bryce & Baby B are spectacular Daddy Seth & brother Theo are beaming ear to ear :-)"
Her husband is the rather gorgeous Seth Gabel, of Fringe and Dirty Sexy Money fame. Jealous.
Congrats to the growing families, and let's all thank them for a bit of positive news in the midst of all these breakups.
