Beyonce Knowles pregnant
Beyoncé Knowles announced at last night's MTV Video Music Awards that she's pregnant.
Proving her new single 1+1, which the lyrics point out equals two, might actually make three, the singer walked the VMA red carpet sporting a baby bump before telling the assembled press, "I have a suprise!"Then, taking to the stage to perform, Knowles told the crowd, "I want you to feel the love growing inside of me," before taking off her jacket to reveal her stomach, and the camera panned to husband Jay-Z who was receiving a slap on the back from pal Kanye West.
The Single Ladies singer married Jay-Z in September 2008 and recently told InStyle magazine, "When you're young - 18 and 19 - you have the drive and energy. That's the time you work as hard as you can."
"Now I'm a woman and, because I gave it my all, I can focus on my marriage. I can decide I want to have kids. I can be the mother I want to be and dedicate myself to my children."
