Simon Cowell is reportedly banking on the popularity of Beyonce to revive The X Factor USA next series.
Actually, it seems like he's going to have to empty several banks to get her, if rumours are to be believed…
All of Beyonce's 'because I'm worth it' ads appear to have brainwashed Simon, as he's reportedly offering her a massive $500million to sign up as a judge for the next five series.
I'm thinking that sounds like a bit too much of a long-term commitment for Bey, but with her newborn daughter Blue Ivy at home, $100million for a series AND the comfort of staying in one place for a while couldn't hurt too much.
She'd take one of the places left open by the departure of judges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul. MediaTakeOut.com cites a "very reliable insider" - who previously tipped them off about Jennifer Lopez joining American Idol.
They told them Simon's after Beyonce, saying:
"[Cowell] wants a big name female star on the panel.
"Mariah [Carey] is good, but she's not that hot today.
"He wants Beyonce because that would immediately give him the bounce needed to beat American Idol."
