Angelina Jolie suffered a ‘complete breakdown’
Angelina Jolie has admitted that she suffered a ‘complete breakdown’ while working on her directorial debut In The Land Of Blood And Honey, and said that she was so emotionally tormented that Brad discovered her balling her eyes out in the shower because she was terrified by the scale of project.
In a live web chat about the film Angelina said, “I had a complete emotional breakdown in the shower and Brad found me crying.
“I felt this huge responsibility and I felt very small and, ‘who am I to take this on?’”
Angelina also said that while she had wanted to take on the project, she didn’t plan on becoming a director. “I still have trouble saying I’m a director,” she admitted. “I just wanted to tell this story and I ended up by default being the director.”
“It was a pleasure but I wonder if it would be a pleasure with another cast and crew, and a subject matter that wasn’t so special.”
Kudos to Miss Jolie for admitting that just like us she is, in fact, human.
