Alex Reid: ‘I like to keep things private’

Alex Reid has insisted he’s sophisticated, popular with women and a fan of privacy ahead of the launch of his own reality TV show. Reid will soon be seen starring I Am Alex Reid on Living TV but he has promised there is more to him than simply being Mr Katie Price.
"I was never average Joe Bloggs, but now I'm a household name. I saw some kids the other day having a play fight. One of them said, 'I'm going to Alex Reid you'," Alex told Heat magazine. "Well, there's a lot more to Alex Reid than just being a fighter and married to a very famous celebrity.
"This is a chance to see the real Alex Reid - the sophisticated one - and all the surprises he's got coming up. Yeah," Alex added of his new show. "I don't want to be doing any more reality shows like What Katie Did Next. I like to keep that privacy and mysticism. I don't want the cameras there 24/7. I want to sell myself to the girly Living audience. I brought more women to Bravo [for his last TV project, Alex Reid: The Fight Of His Life] than they'd ever had. I want to do that again."
