Alesha Dixon's got talent
Strictly Come Dancing judge Alesha Dixon is swapping the tango for talent as she joins Simon Cowell on his ITV show Britain's Got Talent.
The music mogul said of Alesha, "I love Alesha. She is feisty, opinionated and knows what it's like to be both a competitor and judge on a hugely popular TV show.
"This is going to be a brand new experience for her and I think she is going to bring a lot to the table. I'm really looking forward to working with her and hope we get the opportunity to find a star together"
Alesha will join Simon, Amanda Holden and Little Britain comedian David Walliams on the panel.
Speaking of Walliams, Simon said, "I'm absolutely delighted David is joining the panel. He thinks he can do a better job than the people there before so it's going to be fun. I think he's terrified!"
Walliams then joked, "I am so thrilled to be the new Cheryl Cole."
Simon is also upping the ante and doubling the winner's prize with £250,000 of his own money, making the total £500,000.
