Adele: 'The middle finger was for the suits'

ITV upset a lot of people last night as they cut Adele off in her prime while she was saying her thank yous for her Best Album Brit Award.
Adele reacted like most of us would when our biggest moment was cut short, walking off with her middle finger raised. Go on, girl!
In the press room, she said:
"I flung the middle finger. That was for the suits at the Brit Awards, not my fans. I'm sorry if I offended anyone but the suits offended me."
James Corden looked embarrassed as producers made him go up on stage and do a bit of a Kanye to stop her speaking so Blur could take the stage…
Er… James. Grow some balls! If you hadn't cut her off, it would have been fine - Blur's set went on to ITV2 straight after the show anyway…
James said:
"I just feel bad about having to cut Adele off. I really don't understand quite why I was made to, but it's not a very nice way to end. I was having the best night of my life but then I had to cut Adele off before she had a chance to say thank you - she's the biggest star in the world."
Meanwhile, ITV trundled out a lame apology after the show, saying:
"We regret this happened and we send deepest apologies to Adele that her big moment was cut short tonight due to the live show over-running... We don't want this to undermine her incredible achievement in winning her incredible award... it tops off what's been an incredible year for her."
Here's a thought then, don't cut her off when she's talking about how proud she is to have these Brits despite six Grammys…
