I. Love. Girls.
The TV show, created by and starring Lena Dunham, is a brilliant, funny, well-observed series with massively flawed characters that you either know or can identify with.
The first series has been a huge success in the US, and will air on Sky Atlantic in the UK later this year.
Now, one of the four main actresses, Jemima Kirke, has announced she's pregnant with her second child.
The cast are currently filming season 2 in NYC, and when Jemima was asked at a party this week if she'd be holding massive handbags and standing behind potted plants for filming, she said, "Yeah, something like that."
She gave birth to her first child, Rafaella, six weeks before starting filming on the Girls pilot, and brought her to set every day.
The London-born star is an artist first and foremost, but her best friend Lena roped her in to appear in the show, just like she did with her debut movie Tiny Furniture.
Congrats to Jemima!
