Da-da-da-dum-da-dum-da-dum-da-dum. Yep, Carrie Bradshaw is coming back back BACK; the much anticipated Sex and the City prequel has finally been given the green light.
Apparently US network CW, who also make Gossip Girl, has ordered a pilot for a weekly series, which the O.C's Josh Schwartz will be exec producing.
Now, obviously it would take all the prosthetics in the world to transport Sarah Jessica Parker back to her high school years, so the team are currently on the hunt for a lead... Which leads us to the not so great news that Miley Cyrus is currently sniffing around the part.
Talking about the project, which is based on a novel by Sex and the City author Candice Bushnell, Miley said:
"I'm not attached [to the project], so I don't want to say that, but that would be very cool."

I've obviously not read the book because I'm one or two years above the age of the readership, but apparently it sees young Carrie leaving high school and meeting Samantha, who will end up getting played by AnnaLynne McCord if we're really unlucky.
