As Cheryl Cole jets off to LA amid rumours she's set to become a judge on the US version of ITV1's X Factor with Simon Cowell, it's being reported that the star has totally neglected her former X Factor finalists.
Apparently the 27-year-old judge and Girls Aloud star has failed to get in touch with any of the aspiring pop stars since the talent show ended two months ago.
The Promise This singer has reportedly been too busy trying to land the talent show job in the States, and has abandoned Rebecca Ferguson, Katie Waissel and semi-finalist Cher Lloyd.
And the news that she's failed to get in contact with the girls could affect her place on the US panel, where TV bosses are already concerned that Cheryl isn't famous enough and viewers may not understand her soft Geordie accent.
All of the other X Factor judges have been advising their former acts, with Dannii Minogue still mentoring winner Matt Cardle, music mogul Simon Cowell helping boy band One Direction and Louis Walsh taking Mary Byrne to task, who's even releasing an album, Mine & Yours, next month.
The 50-year-old Irish singer and former Tesco worker told The Sun, "Matt has heard from Dannii, I'm sure the boys have been in touch with Simon, but I know Cheryl hasn't been in touch with any of the girls."
The final nine contestants are currently on the X Factor tour, with Mary commenting on Cher Lloyd, "Cher's a completely different girl - she's looking after herself now. She's calmed down an awful lot. She still has her moments, but she's a young kid. She wants to reach for the stars, she wants it all."
Cheryl is hoping to quit the UK series and attempt to crack the US, reportedly already signing a £10m deal to do so, and was pictured yesterday heading to LA.
Her spokesperson wouldn't comment on whether it was for US X Factor duties, saying instead:
"Yes, she's going to LA, but she's going out there to work on some music."
