A new trailer for the upcoming sci-fi movie Gravity, starring Hollywood A-listers Sandra Bullock and George Clooney, has just been released.
The Oscar-winning stars play astronauts who get stranded in space after their shuttle is destroyed by debris, and the film, which was directed and co-written by Mexican filmmaker Alfonso Cuarón, follows their attempt to return to Earth.
The new teaser video, titled 'Detached', is a dramatic shot of the astronaut's separating from their craft.
Sandra plays Dr. Ryan Stone, a medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, while George plays veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky. In the short clip we witness disaster striking as their character's spiral into the blackness after becoming unattached from the craft and one another.

The film will open the 70th Venice Film Festival on 28 August and will later debut in cinemas on 18 October.
