BRIT Awards 2013: Emeli Sandé and Ben Howard win big

Emeli Sandé and Ben Howard were the big winners 2013 Brit Awards taking home two trophies each.

Emeli bagged British Female and British Album for Our Version of Events only one year after she was named the Critics Choice.

Mumford & Sons won British Group, while Ben Howard was shocked to win both the British Breakthrough award and 'British Male'.

Performances from Justin Timberlake, Muse, Robbie Williams and Taylor Swift were loved by fans on Twitter.

One Direction left with the Global Success award as well as performing their Number One charity single, One Way Or Another.
