WATCH: Beyoncé's "Life Is But A Dream" HBO documentary

After months of waiting Beyonce's Life Is But A Dream documentary aired on HBO to mixed reviews.

While most fans praised the singer for creating such a in depth look into her world, some critics claimed the movie was simply a "vanity project" released in order to keep the public interested in the her upcoming projects.

The documentary offered a behind-the-scenes look at the formerly private star's life, and was co-directed by Bey herself.

The 90-minute film included a mix of concert footage, interview clips and home movies as well as performance preparations, romantic clips of Bey with hubby Jay Z, and a few shots of their unbelievable cute daughter Blue Ivy.

We even got to see the star in the hospital room as she prepared to give birth to Blue Ivy with her mother dotingly putting her curlers in her hair!
