Rylan Clark has been leaving the Big Brother house for X Factor rehearsals

Celebrity Big Brother contestant Rylan Clark has been sneaking out of the house to take part in rehearsals for the upcoming X Factor tour.

The news was revealed by fellow contestant and former EastEnders star Gillan Taylforth during an appearance on Channel 5's The Wright Stuff.

She told host Matthew Wright that because the contestants weren't allowed watches or clocks, they would try to judge the time in several different ways including noting when it started to go dark.

She then added, "And then Rylan went out to do X Factor rehearsals for the tour he's doing and when he came back, obviously he wasn't allowed to talk to anybody, but when he came back he just asked somebody the time very quickly."

Naturally people aren't happy to hear that Rylan has been leaving the house because it kind of defies the whole point of Big Brother!

A spokeswoman for the show confirm the new saying, "It was agreed before Rylan entered the Big Brother house that he would be allowed to rehearse for his tour twice on-site with a choreographer," a statement said.

"This was agreed on the strict understanding that he was not allowed to discuss events in the Big Brother house with anyone during such rehearsal periods.

"Rylan was escorted by a Big Brother producer at all times during rehearsal to ensure full compliance."
