Rumour has it Britney Spear is set to leave The X Factor USA ahead of its third season.
Sources close to the singer told TMZ that she wants to focus on her own music career this year after joining the judging panel for it's second season.
The insider said,"Britney loves Simon [Cowell], she likes Demi Lovato but her thing is music."
Britney has already begun work on her eighth studio album and has said that she is collaborating with "some new [and] inspiring producers".
LA Reid has already confirmed that he will not return to the judges' table for The X Factor's third season later this year.
The Epic Records chairman and CEO said that he wants to focus on his day-to-day business interests.
Reid mentored country singer Tate Stevens to victory on the show's second season so we wonder who Simon will get to fill his shoes.
