Emma Stone and Seth MacFarlane will announce the 2013 Oscar nominations

Emma Stone and Seth MacFarlane will announce this year's Oscars nominations.

Seth's MacFarlane's participation in the nominations unveiling is the first time the ceremony's host has taken part in both events since 1972, when Charlton Heston did the honours.

The 2013 Academy Award nominations will be revealed in a news conference at 1.30pm GMT on 10 January 2013.

MacFarlane was revealed as the host of the 85th Academy Awards in October 2012.
