X Factor star Katie Waissel splits from husband after 2 months of marriage

Katie Waissel has split from her model husband, Brad Alphonso, after just two months of marriage.

The controversial X Factor star married Brad after a whirlwind two-month romance during a secret ceremony in September.

No expense was spared on the New Orleans wedding - the bride even wore a custom made Vera Wang gown.

But just a few weeks later the Sunday People claim Katie has called off her relationship after realising he wasn't the right man for her.

A source told the paper, "'Katie did fall head over heels for Brad but it was all too rushed. It soon became clear it wasn't going to work and she got fed up with him."

Uh Oh.

Katie rose to fame as one of Cheryl Cole's most eccentric contestants on the X Factor. She was regularly voted into the bottom two, but was saved repeatedly by Cheryl and Louis who thought her performances showed something unique.
