Simon Cowell sets up secret talks with Cheryl Cole about The X Factor

Simon Cowell has organised secret talks to get Cheryl Cole back on The X Factor.

The reality boss as reportedlt asked Chezza to name her price as he's willing to do everything possible to get her back on the panel.

According to The Sun, Simon popped into Cheryl's house in Beverly Hills and asked her to save the show which has lost over 3 million viewers this year.

Speaking to The Sun, a source said, "He's desperate to get Cheryl back on X Factor UK because it's lost its way.

"The money on the table would be a fortune — at least double what she got last time. She could have what she wanted."

We can't help but think that it would be either Tulisa or Gary who would get the boot if the deal actually went through because Louis Walsh will never leave by the looks of it and Nicole Scherzinger has been so "sch-amazing".

Speaking about Gary, the source said, "Simon thinks he's very nice but who has Gary ever made into a star? He didn't want him in the last series but there was no one better and ITV backed Gary."

It would be pretty unbelievable if Cheryl did decide to come back to the show...
