David Walliams and his model wife Lara Stone are expecting a baby

Litlle Britain star David Walliams and his model wife Lara Stone have announced that they are having their first child together.

The Britain's Got Talent judge shared the news with his fans on Twitter.

He wrote, "Some wonderful news. My beautiful wife Lara is pregnant. We are having a baby! It is due next year and we both couldn't be happier. Dx" .

David married the stunning Calvin Klein model two years ago at Claridge's hotel in central London.

An official statement released by the couple said, "We're very excited to announce we are expecting our first child. We're both absolutely thrilled but ask you to please respect our privacy during this precious time."

Congratulation David and Lara!
