It's thought that the Twilight star plans to put the pair's 'momentary indiscretion' claims to the test by talking to Rupert's wife of 10 years.
Rumours of riff that K-Stew's affair with the Snow White and the Huntsman director was more than a one-time thing, so it's no wonder the heartbroken actor is feeling confused...
Talking to the Daily Mirror, a source said: "He needs to know for his own peace of mind if theirs was just a fleeting moment.
"He hopes Liberty can help him find the answers he so desperately craves."
Meanwhile, Rupert Sanders has stepped out in LA for the first time since pictures of him kissing Kristen Stewart emerged, and he's still wearing his wedding ring!
