Zac Efron eats a duck foetus straight from the egg in the Phillppines

Zac Efron is a fan of trying out interesting delicacies and he decided to share a video of one of these experiences on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

The hunky actor just got back from the Philippines where he had a snack on a duck foetus while sat at the top of a volcano...as you do.

Balut is a duck embryo that is boiled and eaten in the shell which is said to be an aphrodisiac.

In the home-made video, Zac peels open the egg and chows down the baby bird, carefully not to swallow the beak of course.

As gross as it sound, Zac was adamant that he actually liked the meal and had a couple more during the day.

He said: "There was a fully-formed little bird in the egg...It wasn't that bad. I ate, like, three more that day.

"There was, like, a hard part with, like, the beak and stuff. I didn't want to eat that."

We'll stick with a good old scotch egg thank you very much.
