What celebrity sex-tape list would be complete without
Paris Hilton? Possibly the queen of celebrity sex tapes, Paris was just a small-time socialite before One Night In Paris was leaked.
Shot in 2004, the video depicts Paris and her then-boyfriend Rick Salomon having sex. Perhaps a little conveniently, the film was released shortly before Hilton’s TV series The Simple Life debuted, causing a tabloid frenzy.
The tape has been parodied many times, as it features Hilton taking a phone call during sex. Classy.

In June 2005, a 30-second clip of Eve surfaced – dated November 20 1999 – showing a man using a sex toy on the rapper-turned-actress and pleasuring himself.
At the time a spokeswoman for the star told the New York Daily News that the tape was made “years ago with her boyfriend of over two years”. She added, “The fact that a private moment is being made public is a violation, and we would hope that people would respect her privacy as they would their own.”
The star has a tendency to take these things in her stride. In 2003 someone tried to sell a steamy photograph of her and another woman. Eve told the same New York tabloid “I used to strip, so it could be me. Or it could not be me.”

In 2007 actress and model Kim Kardashian made headlines when she sued adult video distributor Vivid Entertainment for releasing a homemade video without her consent, of her having sex with then boyfriend, singer Ray J. She won her case and was awarded £2.5m.
At the time of its release, Vivid co-chairman Steve Hirsh said, “We are comfortable that we have the legal right to distribute this video… I’ve seen the video and it’s great. It has over 30 minutes of explicit sex that fans of erotica will find very appealing.” A spokesperson for Kim said, “Are you ****ing me? Kim is going to die… are you sure?”
The video, called Kim Kardashian Superstar, went on sale in video stores in the US in February 2007. At the time Kim, who was Paris Hilton’s Best Friend, went on record saying that she didn’t sell the tape because she didn’t “need the money”.

One of the earliest internet sex tape scandals involved
Pamela Anderson and husband Tommy Lee. One of the best-known celebrity sex tapes,,the video consists of the Baywatch babe and Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy going about their honeymoon for the most part – and five minutes of sex.
Anderson sued the distribution company Internet Entertainment Group and was awarded £750,000 for their share of the profits.
In 1998 an older Pamela Anderson sex tape, involving her then boyfriend Bret Michaels, appeared on the internet and frames of the video appeared in Penthouse magazine.
We’re just hoping Pammie’s learnt her lesson.

Colin Farrell made a sex tape back in 2002 with Playboy Playmate Nicole Narain. Farrell sued Nicole and her friend Candice Smith to try to prevent the video from being released. Colin appeared on Friday Night With Jonathan Ross in 2008, answered some questions about the video and told Jonathan that he’d learnt his lesson. “Next time I take the tape with me,” he laughed.

“Somebody that was repairing my computer was smart enough to go through anything that he could [and found the movie]. What can I say? I’m not proud of it,” the singer said at the time. “When those things happen to people, there are companies that approach you and say, ‘Hey man, you wanna make some money off this? People are gonna see it anyway.’ I said, ‘Absolutely not.’”

If there were a holy grail of sex tapes, then this would be it. In 2008 the New York Post reported that there was a secret
Marilyn Monroe sex tape, which had been sold to an anonymous businessman for £750,000 so that he could keep it, and the actress’ reputation safe.
The 15-minute sex tape was allegedly shot in the 1950s, before the Some Like It Hot star hit the big-time, and featured the original blonde bombshell giving an unidentified male a blow-job.
The video had not been in circulation before as the FBI had held the original while they tried to determine whether the unidentified male could be John F Kennedy or Robert F Kennedy.
The silent, black and white flick reportedly shows Monroe on her knees in front of a man whose face is just out of the shot. The film was found by Keya Morgan, who was making a Monroe documentary. “You see instantly that it’s Marilyn Monroe – she has the famous mole,” he said.
Morgan claimed the video’s buyer is just going to “lock it up” to save the deceased star’s blushes.
Some Like It Hot indeed.
