Bradley Cooper was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Once he had graduated from his University he moved to New York City to enrol in the Actors Studio Drama School. While there, Bradley\'s professional career began to kick off and he appeared in Sex And The City as Jake and had a part in the TV series The Beat (2000). At around the same time he was a presenter for Globe Trekker. He made his film debut in Wet Hot American Summer in 2001, before landing the role of Will Tippin in Alias.

From Alias, Cooper went on play Zach Lodge in the Wedding Crashers, and starred as Matthew McConaughey\'s best friend in Failure To Launch. Bradley then starred in Season Five of Nip/Tuck, before joining Jim Carrey and Zooey Deschanel in Yes Man. Last year was a big year for Bradley. He starred in He\'s Just Not That Into You, alongside Ben Affleck, Jennifer Aniston, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Connolly, Ginnifer Goodwin, Justin Long and Scarlett Johansson. Before his big movie break, The Hangover, where he played one quarter of the ultimate stag do gone wrong.

Bradley\'s made it quite clear that he doesn\'t drink alcohol, he\'s been teetotal for nearly six years. The actor won\'t say why he steers clear of alcohol, but he has some wild stories about his past. Once when explaining how he got some scars on his head he said, "I was at a Christmas party, dancing to Marilyn Manson\'s ‘The Beautiful People,\' and thought it\'d be a cool idea to show how I\'m able to bash my head against the concrete floor. I did it, came up, blood went down my face, I laughed and did it again. Yeah, I had a couple of drinks in me, for sure."

Bradley\'s admitted he\'s an old romantic. "The truth is, I got it first from my parents, who\'ve been married since 1963," the star told Parade magazine in 2009. "I grew up in a very old-fashioned Roman Catholic, Italian-Irish family in Philadelphia. Now my parents have evolved into completely different creatures, in terms of their marriage and the roles of the man and the woman. And I think that\'s great but it\'s still romantic."
Bradley was married to actress Jennifer Esposito from 2004 to 2006. The couple reportedly split up four months after marrying although Bradley never comments on it publicly. He has since been linked to numerous high profile Hollywood beauties. Including Jennifer Aniston and Cameron Diaz. He\'s currently dating Bridget Jones star Renee Zellwegger.

He loves to cook
Bradley is a master in the kitchen. "I seriously love to cook. My grandmother was an amazing cook," Bradley told ExtraTV. "As a kid I used to help her make handmade pasta, cavatelli and raviolli. It was one of my favourite things to do. I love the idea of making whatever is in the fridge into something."
Bradley is fluent in French
There\'s obviously a reason why Bradley\'s so hot then! He\'s fluent in French, the language of love. "When I was a kid I remember watching Chariots Of Fire. And French is the official language of the Olympics. So there\'s a scene where a guy was speaking French and I thought, ‘Man, that sounds so cool. I want to learn French.\'"
He loves Dogs
Bradley has two rescue dogs. "Samson is a 14 year-old German short hair pointer and Charlotte is a 6 or 7 year old Chow Retriever mix. They are both rescue dogs and they are the best. I\'m sort of a hybrid of both my dogs. Samson is stoic and makes me earn it and Charlotte loves me undyingly. They\'re my kids."
