Yo ho ho and a bottle of whatever Johnny Depp’s been drinking. When Jack Sparrow gallivanted onto our screens in Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Curse Of The Black Pearl, women everywhere went crazy. Making guy-liner less of a fashion faux pas, and possibly giving Russell Brand’s career a boost in the process,,Johnny Depp’s character portrayal was sheer genius. Of course Disney bosses weren’t so sure when they saw the rushes, and even asked what Johnny thought he was playing at. But Johnny’s gamble paid off, as Disney raked in the doubloons.
