Lux Tux
Hugh’s not only an award-winning actor he also looks damn sexy in a tux. Having to don a suit for most award ceremonies, and here for the part of The Drover in his new film Australia, Hugh’s a pro at putting on his glad rags and doing it in style. Sigh!

Entertainer
Hugh has been appearing on stage since the beginning of his career, and isn’t afraid to admit that he loves performing. Before becoming a major star of the screen, he played Gaston in the Melbourne production of Beauty and the Beast, and later Curly in a National Theatre production of Oklahoma in the West End. In 2004 he won a coveted Tony Award for his Broadway role in The Boy From Oz. He’s just an all singing, all dancing Aussie that smoulders on screen.

Horsing around
Hugh took to horseback for the part of The Drover in film Australia, and we can’t help but notice the similarities between Jackman and a young Clint Eastwood. Being on a horse suits the Hollywood star to a T and only emphasises his powerful and brooding look.

Australia
Hugh’s doing it for his country in his latest film, the epic Australia, and spends most of it looking deliciously dishevelled, much to our delight. He plays The Drover, a rough-hewn stockman who helps Nicole Kidman move 2,000 of her cattle across the country’s roughest land. Hugh said that filming kept him “dirty 95% of the time” and he left us stammering!
