Glamour model Katie Price and Peter Andre have ended their marriage of four years, her spokesman has confirmed today. The spokesman said, “Peter Andre and Katie Price are separating after four and a half years of marriage, Cans Associates Limited can confirm today. They have both requested that the media respect their families’ privacy at this difficult time.” The announcement ends months of speculation surrounding the couple’s turbulent relationship, most of which was documented on their programme Katie And Peter: Stateside. Up until now the couple had denied their relationship was on the rocks and just last week they were discussing plans to try for another baby on an upcoming holiday to Cyprus. The couple married in September 2005, having met on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 19 months earlier. They have two children together, Junior, 3 and Princess Tiami, 16 months. Andre is also stepfather to Price’s oldest son Harvey, whose father is Sunderland striker Dwight Yorke.

Katie Price fled the country for the Maldives with the couple’s two children Junior, three and Princess Tiaamii, one, in tow. Jordan left her severely disabled eldest son Harvey (from a previous relationship with footballer Dwight Yorke) with a carer.

Katie was reportedly fuming when
Peter fled the country to be at home in Cyprus with his parents, leaving Harvey with just his carer. Speaking with the Daily Mirror a source revealed that Price had told friends, “Can you believe Pete’s f***** off leaving Harvey home alone? He’s just packed up his s*** and gone.” Andre’s friends added, “Family means everything to Pete and so the fact his two natural kids are with Katie on the other side of the world is a killer blow.”

Peter arrived back in Britain having spent almost a week in his Cyprus bolthole with family and friends. The singer said an emotional farewell to his family before touching down in Heathrow with his brother. But he didn’t receive the warm welcome he may have been expecting.
Katie is believed to have ordered staff to dispose of his belongings from the marital home. The glamour model, who was still in the Maldives, reportedly called housekeepers and told them to take everything before his arrival home. A source told the Sun, “Katie’s still very hurt after Pete dumped her and wants to get him back.”

Katie Price’s ex-boyfriend Dane Bowers, 29, was held by officers attending a crash near Katie Price’s home in Woldingham Surrey in the early hours of Tuesday. Bowers and another man were arrested on suspicion of drink driving after police were alerted to a loud noise at Price’s home and discovered a Vauxhall Tigra had crashed in a nearby hedge.
