Former Buffy The Vampire Slayer star David Boreanaz admitted cheating on his wife this week. The actor, who\'s currently starring in Sky1 crime drama Bones, admitted he had been unfaithful to his wife Jaime Bergman only after one of his former mistresses threatened to sell her story. David revealed his former lover had contacted a lawyer and asked for money to buy her silence. In an interview People magazine, David said, "Our marriage has been tainted with my infidelities. I just want to be open and honest. I was irresponsible." The Buffy star declined to name his mistress though. "I was associated with a woman who I was involved with and had a relationship with. She asked for money. I felt as though I was being blackmailed or there was some sort of extortion." The 40 year-old actor added that he was determined to salvage his marriage. Just days after winning the Leading Actress Oscar, Sandra Bullock was left devastated after her husband Jesse James was accused of having an 11-month affair with tattoo model Michelle ‘Bombshell\' McGee. Soon, several other women came forward claiming to have had affairs with him. "I would never have hooked up with him if I thought he was a married man," McGee told InTouch Weekly. "He gave me the impression they were separated." Jesse is said to have given McGee his personal e-mail. "I asked him, ‘What\'s going on with you and Sandra?\'" McGee claimed. "He said, ‘She doesn\'t live here. She has a house in Austin. She is filming, and I can\'t talk about it."
Since the allegations surfaced, the couple have split, while McGee has apologised. Sandra has stepped out of the spotlight and adopted a new baby Louis (who she began adopting with Jesse four years ago). Sounds like a lucky escape.

The billionaire golfer was first linked to New York socialite Rachel Uchitel, then cocktail waitress Jaimee Grubs, 24, before the floodgates opened. Tiger and wife Elin Nordengren are now reported to be in the midst of a major break up and insiders claim Elin is determined to divorce the shamed golfer. Not surprising, earlier this week it was claimed that Woods had been unfaithful with 131 women! We\'re not even sure where he finds the time!

American talk show host David Letterman was forced to admit to his infidelities on his late-night chat show after he became subject of an extortion plot by a TV producer and a disgruntled ex-boyfriend of one of his mistresses. Letterman\'s live confession came just seven months after he had married his long-time girlfriend Regina Lasko. The revelations rocked the couple\'s marriage but they are trying to slowly repair their relationship. The couple also have a six-year-old son called Harry. "Right now, that\'s what we\'re doing, we\'re putting the thing back together to see what it\'s going to look like," Letterman told Live! With Regis and Kelly.
