Editor Rebecca loves Michael Fassbender

Ok, I’m not going to go for the obvious and bang on about Fassbender’s massive….feet in Shame. I don’t need to, there are plenty of other reasons to love the man.

He’s the ultimate in repressed romantic hero as Mr Rochester in Jane Eyre. Forget Hugh Grant’s awkward Edward Ferrars in Sense and Sensibility or Colin Firth jumping in the lake at Pemberley in Pride  and Prejudice, it’s Fassbender’s turn as Mr R that really gets us hot under the collar. That’s because you really believe the brooding passion he feels for Jane – it’s just below the surface. It’s also because he’s PURE SEX. On the same note, Fassbender is a proper old-school method actor, he starved himself for his role as IRA prisoner on hunger strike Bobby Sands in Hunger and spent A LOT of time naked in Shame.

Forget George ‘one note’ Clooney, Colin ‘repressed Englishman’ Firth and Brad ‘I’ll let my facial hair do the acting for me’ Pitt, this man’s got real talent.
