From Kelly Osbourne telling her followers that Dannii Minogue was the ‘devil’, and Amy Winehouse having a dig at Mark Ronson on Twitter, we round up the biggest celebrity Twitter feuds to celebrate the release of The Social Network. We’ve got ringside seats after all.

Speaking of Ronsons, Amy Winehouse used Twitter to have a dig at producer Mark Ronson, who she worked on her album Back To Black. During an interview with Jools Holland, Mark claimed he had “cheated the tracks” on Amy’s award winning album. Amy wasn’t pleased. “Ronson you’re dead to me,” she seethed. “One album I write an you take half the credit – make a career out of it? Don’t think so BRUV,”

Tens of thousands of Tweeters were left gobsmacked when they witnessed a fullscale showdown between Lily Allen and Perez Hilton in Feburary 2009. It all began when Hilton tweeted asked his followers to persuade Lily to cast him in her new music video. Lily tweeted saying he was too late because they’d “already cast the jealous and bitter lonely old queen role.”
Hilton soon hit back saying “If I wanted to be f****d up Brit, I’d rather be Amy Winehouse – whose got talent.” Which would have packed more of a punch if he’d checked his spelling. He then went on call Lily “desperate” and claim her success in America was because she’s discounted her album. Lily then begged Perez to “go away you little parasite.”
Finally, Perez responded by thanking her and her label for advertising on his site.

A few months after the Lily Allen debacle, Perez was causing yet more drama on his twitter feed. On 22 June 2009 Perez tweeted, “I was assaulted by will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No Joke.”
Perez’s cry for help forced will.i.am to create his own twitter account just hours later. “I just made a twitter account because it isn’t cool for someone to blame you and blast you with lies…” before he linked a response video where he denied ever hitting the blogger and claimed that Perez had called him a faggot. Perez responded saying, “There are multiple witnesses. You can deny all you want. The truth is the truth and I am telling the truth.” Countless other celebrities got involved, including John Mayer who criticised Hilton for the names he called Will. Our favourite celeb response surprisingly came from teen star Miley Cyrus who, upon being told of Perez’ tweets and an accompanying video of the blogger in tears, simply creased up laughing.

Who would want parenting advice from Perez Hilton? Apparently not Travis Barker. Blink 182 drummer Travis tangled up Perez after first attacking the parenting skills of his estranged wife Shanna Moakler. “Killin child molesters and careless mothers 1 tweet at a time. Kids are amazing and should never be exposed to that. Thanks for the support,” he tweeted before aiming his punches directly at Shanna. “@shannamoakler Your uncle is a convicted child molester and you will not agree to keep him away from the kids. Therefore, I put u on blast.”
According to Perez, this was the right time to wade in. “Either way, this is just stupid Travis. Twitter is not the correct forum to air out the dirty laundry of your family, especially when kids are involved. If you want to have a discussion about your kids, do it over the phone or in person,” he said. To which Travis responded, \"Man, watch who you call stupid on your website!!!!!!!!! Shanna\'s uncle is a f*****g molester and won\'t sign papers keeping my kids away from them. Unless i get a reply back from you stay away from and keep my name out your mouth. Calling me stupid is not brightest idea.\" And threatening someone over Twitter is?

OK, so Perez Hilton appears to be responsible for 99.9% of all Twitter feuds, including this one with Pete Wentz.
In January, Perez posted a picture of Pete holding his crying baby and joked that he’d be crying too if ‘douchey’ Pete were his Dad.
Fall Out Boy star Pete posted a since-deleted response via his website telling Perez not to talk about his kid, and saying “I will make you less than what you are. I will break you and you won’t know its me.’
Perez responded on Twitter, “@petewentz Dude, I wasn’t making fun of your kid. I was making fun of YOU! Thanks for proving my point, douche.” And added, “@petewentz Seriously, dude. You threatened me with physical violence for making fun of YOU. That’s more than douchey! You’re dead to me.”

Annoyed that the Nirvana for Guitar Hero game was rubbish, Journalist Jerry Thackray tweeted, “Kurt Cobain covers Bon Jovi. Grohl & @courtneylover79 sanctioned this. F**king vacuous spoiled jaded c**ting rock whores.” Courtney responded telling the journalist that he could rape David Grohl. “You can ass rape Dave he was always a bad seed and is still riding the sh*t while I take bulletsif (sic) there’s a hell hes going. Im not.” Wow.

Teen pop sensation Miley Cyrus had a very public break-up with her ex-boyfriend underwear model Justin Gaston. Then they took things to twitter. “People mistake stupidity for bravery way to easily,” Guston tweeted in August, and Miley took the bait responding. “Yeah. I love when people mistake bravery with writing a few stupid tweets trying to make it seem like they don’t care. You’re afraid to love.” We’re not even sure what that was all about, but all we can say is, go Miley.

At the NME awards this year Lily Allen and Courtney Love had to be pulled apart by their entourages after Lily made some snide Twitter comments about Courtney’s daughter Frances Bean. Love screamed at Lily that she was a “little girl” and said “welcome to the music industry.” Allen took to Twitter later calling Courtney a “drug-addled lunatic.”

Kim Kardashian found herself being reprimanded by Demi Moore when she thoughtlessly tweeted “Big Pimpin @Serenajwilliams @lalavazquez @kelly_rowland Love u girls!”
Now either Demi was suffering from a bad case of PMT, Ashton had been spending too much time on his X Box, or Kardashian simply caught her at a bad time, but Demi exploded across the web, “A pimp is nothing more than a slave owner!” before adding, “If we want to end slavery we need to stop glorifying the ‘pimp’ culture. I was just making a point about how we have used a word and desensitized the real meaning.”
We think it’s a good point, but can’t help feel a little bit sorry for Kardashian who walked right into that one.

Well, not that we’re not used to the Pratt/Montag publicity machine trying to gain column inches, but we couldn’t help but be a little surprised when Spencer Pratt tweeted about a sex tape of ex-wife Heidi Montag.“The sex tape will not feature any bisexuality It will however feature trisexuality. Also – a triceratops.” Heidi’s brilliant response, “F U!!!!!”

Vicar’s daughter Katy Perry took offence to Lady Gaga’s video for Alejandro because of its use of religious iconography and rosary beads. Perry tweeted, “Using blasphemy as entertainment is as cheap as a comedian telling a fart joke.” We’re undecided about whether to tell her that she might want to have a word with fiancé Russell Brand about that.

When Kelly Osbourne read Dannii Minogue’s take on the arguments she had with Sharon Osbourne on the X Factor in her new autobiography, Dannii: My Story, she wasn’t happy, and took to Twitter to defend her mum.
Dannii tells how on her first night on the X Factor, Sharon Osbourne bowled into her dressing room and ‘demanded to know why I hadn’t gone to press to tell them what a nice person she was,” Dannii goes on to say that she ended up in tears because Sharon had “ruined my big night.”
Kelly tweeted, “The best thing to happen to Dannii’s career was that my mother hated her she needs to shut her mouth and concentrate on motherhood!” adding, “I will be the first one to admit that my mother did not play her cards right when came to dannii but trust me when I say Dannii is the devil.”
Then to add salt to the wound, Kelly wrote, “Dannii you are so lucky that I respect Simon enough not to tell the truth about what really happened. Wa wa wa ou poor middle aged victum” (sic)
We wonder what that last tweet was all about! Dannii’s yet to respond.
