With the release of Sex and the City 2, the press have been having a field day with rumours that the cast\'s feud has reached fever pitch. In honour of what might possibly be the longest running fall-out in show business, we take a look at other celebrity frenemies.

It\'s long been rumoured that the relationship between Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall turns off as soon as the cameras stop rolling. The reason behind the rumoured feud? Money, naturally. Sarah Jessica Parker used to take £3million from the show, almost double to the other cast members. Which would clearly ruffle some feathers. It\'s also rumoured that Parker dislikes how popular Samantha became, and how much screen time Cattrall started receiving, especially seeing as most of it was spent naked, which is pretty hard to ignore. Reports from the Sex and the City 2 set claim the pair were refusing to speak to one another. An insider told Star magazine "While the cast is all smiles on the outside, the level of dislike is unbelievable. No-one is having a good time on this shoot." Of course the ladies deny any rifts.

MTV\'s The Hills stars Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag were best of friends until Heidi hooked up with Spencer Pratt and the BFFs had a massive falling out. In the second season finale, Heidi moved out of the flat she shared with Lauren to live with Spencer, and the girls stopped speaking to one another. "I made a decision to speak my piece to Heidi about him," Conrad told US weekly in 2007. "I had endured a really bad relationship the year before and I didn\'t want to see her go through what I did. But I knew once I said that stuff about her boyfriend, it was going to change everything." And that it did. Then, when the media found out that Lauren had made a sex tape with her ex-boyfriend Jason Wahler, Conrad automatically pointed the finger at Heidi and Spencer for outing her. At Heidi and Spencer\'s wedding in 2008 the biggest talking point was whether or not Lauren would turn up. Cue ten times the drama when she did.

Paris Hilton and best friend Nicole Richie made a name for themselves when they appeared together in TV show The Simple Life, and you could tell there was a sisterly bond that held them together. But in 2005, the pair had a spectacular falling out. At the time neither would discuss the reason (insiders claim the feud began when Richie played a copy of Paris\' leaked sex tape at a party), save for Paris saying "Nicole knows what she did, and that\'s all I\'m ever going to say about it." While Nicole explained to Vanity Fair magazine, "When I got out of rehab I had to figure out what path to go down, and part of that included taking certain people out of my life. I just decided I didn\'t want to be her (Hilton\'s) friend anymore. We\'re just two completely different people; we don\'t have that much in common." While the pair aren\'t glued to one another\'s hips in the same way they used to be, they did finally settle their differences in 2006 when they started to hang out together again, but things were never the same.

Back in 2008, things took a turn for the worse between former America\'s Next Top Model judge Janice Dickinson and the show\'s host and head judge, model Tyra Banks. Janice shockingly left ANTM and speaking with Alan Carr on his ChattyMan talk show, revealed, "I made that show [America\'s Next Top Model] a hit. Can you imagine for five seasons sitting next to Miss Tyra Banks and listening to her go off?" As if that wasn\'t bad enough Janice then went on to exclaim, "You could land a helicopter on her forehead. It\'s huge!" Janice admitted that she got the boot from the show after she called Tyra "fat" and continued to tell Alan, "She was huge! [Her legs] are huge. Well, she\'s a big woman. I used to think she was a man. I kept looking for, I was always looking, thinking, ‘something isn\'t right here\'." Meow! Unlike Janice, Tyra\'s managed to maintain her dignity through the whole affair and refuses to mention the arguments.

They may have been part of the Mickey Mouse Club together when they were just starry-eyed tweens, but there\'s no love lost between Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears. The competition between them dates back to when they were both Mouseketeers and continued when they were both up for a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist in 2000, Britney lost out to Christina. But Britney had the last laugh. After their performance at the MTV Video Music Awards where both singers kissed Madonna, Christina took a backseat when the cameras cut to a shot of Justin Timberlake (Britney\'s ex) in the audience when Christina\'s kiss took place. Aguilera then reportedly called Britney a "fake" and criticised her for trying to portray herself as a virgin while using her sex appeal to increase her popularity. When Britney married Kevin Federline, Christina was said to have said she didn\'t know who Britney was anymore and accused her rival of acting like trailer trash.
The pair have reportedly now buried the hatchet after Christina sent Britney a designer bag for her new-born baby son.

Rumours have been rife that Scarlett Johansson and Gwyneth Paltrow really didn\'t get on while working together on Iron Man 2. According to The Sun, Gwyneth thought Scarlett was stealing her limelight, and no one steals Gwynnie\'s limelight without a fight. A Hollywood source told the paper, "Gwyneth has become very frustrated with Scarlett. They come from different worlds and have completely different styles. Gwyneth has found Scarlett very demanding of the attention of the crew. It\'s not a happy set." The source went onto add, "Gwyneth was looking forward to working with Emily Blunt, who was originally in line for the part, but it ended up being Scarlett. Gwyneth\'s had to live with that and she has been very professional, but she and Scarlett haven\'t developed a friendship on the shoot... in fact, it\'s quite the opposite." Gwyneth was quick to dismiss the rumours when she appeared on ABC news to promote the film, saying, "She\'s a great girl, she\'s really funny, she\'s got a dirty sense of humour, she loves to cook, and she\'s really cool."

The Nadine Coyle and Cheryl Cole rift has been reported more times than we\'ve had hot dinners, but the girls always deny it fervently. Yet it still doesn\'t get boring! Recently, it\'s been reported that the rows between Cheryl and "jealous" Nadine are set to cause the end of Girls Aloud. Sources told Heat magazine, Coyle is annoyed at Cheryl\'s "manipulation" with a friend of Nadine\'s telling the magazine, "Nadine tries to keep very private and believes her success will come through her talent and not any kind of media circus which might surround someone\'s private life." Nadine tweeted that there were no rows within the group, and that she had written a song that she\'d love to collaborate with Cheryl on, only for Cheryl to be interviewed on radio 1 a week later and say she thought it\'d be "a bit weird" to collaborate with just one Girls Aloud member, putting a stop on that idea then.
