Britney and Jamie Lynn Spears
Apparently Britney\'s refused to be a bridesmaid at her sister Jamie Lynn\'s wedding because of the way Jamie Lynn\'s pregnancy was announced last year. Jamie Lynn is reported to be planning to marry her boyfriend Casey Aldridge shortly before her baby is due in June, but sources claim Britney felt stabbed in the back when her little sister chose to announce her pregnancy in Star Magazine before telling her. It seems that when Jamie Lynn phoned Britters to ask her to be a part of the wedding, her older sister told her that hell would freeze over before she would be her bridesmaid. A bit of advice for you, Britney - the last thing you need right now is more enemies!

Angelina Jolie and Jane Pitt
It seems that Angelina Jolie and her mother-in-law to be, Jane Pitt, don\'t exactly see eye-to-eye. Brad\'s mum, who seems to still have a soft spot for his ex, Jennifer Aniston, went was reported to have gone ballistic after Jolie spoke to the press about her having used "every drug possible". Mama Pitt was not impressed and reminded Angelina that she should think of the couple\'s kids before talking about her errant past. Things were made worse when The Tomb Raider star found out that Brad\'s mum had invited Jennifer Aniston to the Pitt family home in Missouri for Thanksgiving last year - apparently Angelina went ballistic at Brad saying that Jane\'s friendship with Jennifer was sick. It seems even A-listers can\'t escape the age-old mother-in-law problem!

Angelina Jolie and John Voight
Angelina is no stranger to feuds. It may have been all smiles at the Oscars Vanity Fair party in 2001 for Angelina and her dad John Voight, but it wasn\'t long before the pair became estranged. In 2002, veteran actor John said that his daughter had "severe emotional problems" in a US TV interview - they haven\'t spoken since and John hasn\'t met his grandchildren yet. Angelina\'s brother James Haven has also cut himself from his father. In a statement in October last year Voight said, "God knows for years, I\'ve tried to mend this relationship. I continuously send them my heart and love and I\'m always available to them for whatever they may need from me."

Jennifer and Nancy Aniston
Friends star Jennifer Aniston cut ties with her mum Nancy after she revealed a little too much about her daughter on a TV interview back in 1996. Ex-model Nancy then went on to capitalise on Jen\'s fame by writing a book about their relationship, From Mother And Daughter To Friends: A Memoir. Jennifer was so upset that she didn\'t invite Nancy to her wedding to Brad Pitt in 2000. However, Jennifer softened to her mother after her painful and public split with Brad, and the pair are now reconciled.

Eric and Julia Roberts
The lesser-known brother of Julia Roberts, Eric, is actually the person responsible for giving Julia a leg-up in the movie business. Oscar-nominated Eric, who is 12 years older than Julia, got her a part in his movie Blood Red in 1989 and it was up, up and away for Julia from then on. The pair fell out when Julia sided with Eric\'s ex-girlfriend over custody of his daughter in 1993. Brother and sister made amends in 2004 when Eric went to visit Julia in hospital after she gave birth to her twins, Phinnaeus and Hazel. Eric, who\'s currently starring in US TV show Heroes, recently told People magazine, "I\'m so proud of her that I can\'t even see straight."

Eminem and Debbie Nelson
Marshall Mathers, aka rapper Eminem, isn\'t known for keeping his feelings hidden, and his hatred for his mother, Debbie, is no exception. After viciously attacking her in several of his lyrics, the rapper\'s mother attempted to sue him for $7million for defamation. There was talk in the media that the pair had reconciled in 2006 when Debbie was gravely ill with breast cancer, and that Eminem had paid her hospital bill, but in December 2007 the rapper\'s mother published a book called My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem in which she claims he is suffers from bipolar disorder and that his trailer-trash childhood was invented. The battle continues.

Lindsay and Michael Lohan
When your world-famous daughter releases a song called Confessions Of A Broken Heart (Daughter To Father) with lyrics including, "If you loved us, why did you do all these things," it might be a sign that your relationship isn\'t doing so well. And so it is with Lindsay and her dad Michael. After Lindsay\'s parents\' messy divorce in which Michael tried to have Lindsay\'s earnings included as a marital asset, the pair fell out. Michael found God while he was doing time for drunk driving and assault, and now works at a rehab centre and has been ordained as a Christian minister. Father and daughter were reunited when he went to see her in rehab last year.

Drew and Jaid Barrymore
If a kid\'s a Hollywood star by the time she\'s seven years old, you can be pretty sure that there\'s a larger-than-life mother behind the scenes, and Drew Barrymore\'s mum Jaid is no exception. ‘Irresponsible\' might be another word to describe Jaid, who took her young daughter to nightclubs with her, with Drew ending up in rehab for drugs and alcohol at the tender age of 13. Jaid, an unsuccessful actress, also posed for Playboy and tried to auction some of Drew\'s childhood possessions on the internet. Kind-hearted Drew, who recently gave a $1million to the World Food Programme to feed African children, reconciled with her mother in 2000.
