A star is born
Amy Winehouse was born in 1983 to father Mitch and mum Janis. By 10 she was already showing great musical talent, forming a rap group called Sweet N’ Sour. Joining Sylvia Young’s drama school, Amy was already a bit of a wild child and was expelled at 14 for piercing her nose and playing up in class.
