Demi Moore has leech therapy
Demi Moore admitted to using leech therapy to help her detox this week. She told David Letterman, “I was in Austria doing a cleanse and part of the treatment was leech therapy. These aren\'t just swamp leeches though, we are talking about highly trained medical leeches. We\'re talking high level blood suckers." Demi explained. “They have a little enzyme that when they are biting down in you gets released in your blood and your health is optimised, it detoxifies your blood. You watch it swell up on your blood, watching it get fatter and fatter - then when it’s super drunk on your blood it just kind of rolls over like it is stumbling out of the bar." Surely she didn’t have to go all the way to Austria to find drunken, blood sucking leeches, isn’t that what Hollywood agents are for?

Tom makes Katie sick
Katie Holmes was said to be suffering from dizzy spells, headaches and fainting this week as a result of husband Tom Cruise’s “boundless energy”. An insider told Star magazine, “Katie doesn\'t get enough sleep and hasn\'t for months now. She\'s tired and drained much of the day because Tom is so wired and they stay awake until after midnight. He has boundless energy and she just can\'t compete.” The source also blamed it the decorating of the couple’s £17.5million mansion. “It\'s on Katie\'s shoulders to pull off something beyond magnificent, something Tom can brag about. She\'s giving herself headaches thinking about it and making herself sick.”

Amy offered £350,000 gig
Troubled Amy Winehouse was reported to have been offered £350,000 to play a single gig in a new Rotterdam nightclub this week. According to The Sun Amy has been offered the show at Rotterdam’s soon-to-open night club Watt, however there is a catch. Sources claim the Dutch club plans to run on energy generated by urine and sweat. A source at the club said, “The energy will come from urine and sweat from the visitors, and toilets will be flushed by rainwater,” though they stayed tight-lipped on how exactly they plan to turn wee and harvested perspiration into an energy source. Interestingly though, it was the second urine-based Amy story of the week after it was said plans to use her own to help her treat her bothersome impetigo.

Michelle Williams\' father challenges Heath\'s will
Larry Williams, father of Heath Ledger’s ex Michelle, challenged the late actor’s father Kim to publicly state the value of their son\'s fortune this week. Williams said he was perplexed by documents filed in a New York court listing Ledger\'s assets at just £75,000. “It\'s real simple: just come clean with everything,\'\' he said, adding, "He [Kim Ledger] just has to say where the income went and where the assets are.” Williams is now the second person to question Heath’s father Kim’s handling of his assets after the actor’s uncle and godfather Mike Ledger voiced his doubts last week.

Heather to fight gagging order
Sir Paul McCartney\'s ex Heather Mills revealed plans to fight to the gagging order placed on her divorce this week. Her lawyer told the Daily Star, "Heather feels it’s very unfair that the judgment should be printed in full when she cannot defend herself. " Heather, £24.3million richer after last week\'s divorce settlement, also commented, "It seems an overall tabloid-created perception of my personality is preferred to much detail that I prepared for my case. I would suggest in the interests of fairness, it is now in the public interest to reveal the transcripts of the full court proceedings."

Kurt Cobain\'s widow is said to be interested in properties in leafy Sunningdale, Berkshire after being quoted as saying, "I am fed up with Los Angeles. It\'s dirty and full of crazy people. Johnny Depp saves girl in coma
Pirates Of The Caribbean star Johnny Depp is being called “the nicest celeb in the world” this week after helping a young fan recover from a coma. Seventeen-year-old Sophie Wilkinson spent five months in a coma following a car accident, showing no sign improvement, before her dad, Andrew, wrote to Depp. Johnny sent back a recorded message in full Captain Jack Sparrow style. A source said, “Remarkably enough, the young girl began moving her right leg shortly after hearing the recording of Depp.” Depp also committed himself to doing anything necessary to help out a fan and a young girl in need. It’s the latest in a string of above and beyond the call of duty behaviour from the Sweeney Todd star, who back in January donated £1million to Great Ormond Street Hospital and spoiled staff and patients.
