Lily Allen is \"dying inside\"
Lily Allen wrote that she was “dying inside” and “feels like killing herself” after her public war of words with Sir Elton John at last week\'s GQ Awards. Lily had bickered on stage with Elton after sipping champagne while presenting the awards show. When she said: "And now the most important part of the night..." Sir Elton joked, "What? Are you going to have another drink?" Lily replied, "F*** off, Elton. I am 40 years younger than you and have my whole life ahead of me." He quickly hit back saying, "I could still snort you under the table." After the row Lily wrote on her Facebook page, "Lily has had enough and feels like killing herself," before changing her profile status to "Lily is dying inside". A friend told the Mirror Lily has since written her a note saying, "I\'m not defending my drunkenness because I don\'t need to. I\'m 23, it was an awards ceremony, I drank the free champagne, how awful of me,” before explaining, “Trying to make me out as being some rude little girl with a drink problem is just unfair. Elton and I exchanged jokes and there were no hard feelings.”

Britney Spears\' attacks ex-manager
Lynne Spears, Britney\'s mum, slammed her daughter\'s ex-manager, Sam Lutfi this week. In her new book Through The Storm – A Real Story Of Fame And Family In A Tabloid World she writes that he was ever-present with Britney throughout her troubles. Lynne claims that Lutfi, who was served with a restraining order in February of this year, worked his way into her life and tried to cut her off from family and loved ones. “She was sad, floundering, ripe for a predator to come along. Britney was open to this man who rode in on a white horse,” Lynne explains. “Within a month of meeting, Sam was in complete control of her life. He appointed himself as her gate-keeper, and there was no one he wanted to keep the gate closed to more than Britney\'s family." She also claims Lutfi said Britney would commit suicide if they tried to sack him, quoting, "If you try to get rid of me, she\'ll be dead and I\'ll p**s on her grave."

Jones asked for an auditor to be brought in to look at the production accounts and establish the amount film company owe him.

Anne Hathaway discusses ex-boyfriend\'s arrest
Devil Wears Prada star Anne Hathaway spoke of her shock at ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri’s arrest. “As soon as I found out about the arrest, I had to get on a plane to Mexico to do a press tour for Get Smart. And then I spent a week in shock at a friend\'s house,” she tells W magazine of her ex’s arrest for conspiracy, wire fraud and money laundering offences. “It\'s a situation where the rug was pulled out from under me all of a sudden. But just as suddenly, my friends threw another rug back under me. One said, \'Go stay at my house.\' And Steve Carell [her Get Smart co-star] stepped up for me during an interview when someone asked a question about it. He said, \'At some point you\'re going to have to talk about this time in your life. You don\'t have to do it this week. I\'ll take care of anything that comes your way.\'"

Ex visits Katie Holmes
Tom Cruise’s wife Katie Holmes was visited in New York by her ex-boyfriend and fellow former Dawson’s Creek star Joshua Jackson this week. “Katie has been looking skinny and depressed and, like any concerned friend, rather than do nothing Joshua wanted to check everything was OK,” a source has told Grazia magazine. “They haven\'t spoken in a while and, naturally, he was worried. So he just decided to drop by. It was really sweet, he just turned up unexpectedly with a bunch of flowers and said, \'Hello stranger.\' Katie was shocked, but so happy to see him. It was a wonderful surprise. She gave him such a big hug.” The source continued, "Joshua made it clear she wasn\'t alone. He\'s not out to cause trouble. Her life is truly bizarre now, but having some friends supporting her who have nothing to do with her LA set-up could make all the difference. Josh would love to see Katie as the carefree and relaxed woman he once knew.”

Alec Baldwin feuds with My Name Is Earl
Actor Alec Balwin became tangled in an angry war of words with My Name Is Earl creator Greg Garcia. The row started when Baldwin moaned in an interview that rival shows My Name Is Earl and Scrubs were, “Done! They\'re cooked! Yet they do a one-hour episode of Earl." The My Name Is Earl creator issued a scathing statement in response. "Baldwin sounds like a psychotic narcissist. Instead of blaming NBC, I think Alec should consider that some people in America may not want to watch a man who cusses out his own 11-year-old daughter on a phone message." It didn\'t take long for Alec to release a statement of his own. “My apologies to the cast and crews of My Name Is Earl and Scrubs. In my frustration with NBC\'s reprehensible promotion of 30 Rock, I took an unfortunate swipe at both of those shows and that was not cool. But, for Earl\'s creator, Greg Garcia, who referred to me as a "psychotic", I have only one question. Why are you Scientologists always rendering these medical opinions you aren\'t qualified to give?”
