Dark Knight star Christian Bale denied he assaulted his mother and sister in a London hotel this week. The Batman star attended a police station by appointment on Tuesday as officers investigated the allegations. “Christian Bale attended a London police station, on a voluntary basis, in order to assist with an allegation that had been made against him to the police by his mother and sister,” a press statement read. “Mr. Bale, who denies the allegation, co-operated throughout, gave his account in full of the events in question and has left the station without any charge being made against him by the police.” Gossip site TMZ claims Christian’s mother was “brushed not pushed” by the star during the dispute which it’s said related to a long-standing family feud.

Will Smith was named last year’s best-paid actor in Hollywood in a new chart released by financial magazine Forbes. Together the top ten actors made whopping £243million in the last twelve months compared to a measly £122million earned by the top ten women. Forbes calculates that Will took home a huge £40million last year to take the top spot ahead of Johnny Depp, £36million, Eddie Murphy, £27.25million, Mike Myers, £27million and Leonardo DiCaprio in fifth who banked just the embarrassing £22.5million.

Naomi Campbell publicly thanked Victoria Beckham this week for her support during the model’s recent arrest for air rage. “When I was going through my hard time recently she was immediately on the phone, asking me how I was doing and saying, \'I hope you\'re well.\' She was very sweet,” Naomi told the Mirror. “I speak to Victoria pretty regularly about normal, mundane stuff. We share girl stuff and she is so funny. I really love Victoria and David Beckham.”

Peaches Geldof suffered a suspected overdose on Sunday night but refused to go to hospital to avoid her father Bob finding out sources have told The Sun. “Peaches could not breathe for several minutes after suffering a respiratory arrest. Her friend had to give chest pumps and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation,” an insider claimed. “If she had not received this she could have died or she could have suffered brain damage. Peaches had gone into respiratory arrest.” It was also claimed that Peaches shouted at paramedics who arrived on the scene. “When she came to she started mouthing off and told the ambulance crew, ‘You have to respect my privacy’.” In May this year The Sun filmed Peaches apparently buying drugs.

Singer/songwriter Amy Winehouse\'s husband Blake Fielder-Civil was sentenced to 27 months in prison for perverting the course of justice and grievous bodily harm. Blake was sentenced at Snaresbrook Crown Court for his part in an assault on pub landlord James King, and then attempting to bribe him £200,000 not to testify. When sentencing him, Judge David Radford said Fielder-Civil behaved in a "gratuitous, cowardly and disgraceful way".

Britney Spears agreed to give ex-husband Kevin Federline full-time custody of her children in return for increased visitation rights OK! magazine reported this week. "A final settlement in the Kevin Federline-Britney Spears custody case was signed," K-Fed\'s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan says. "All parties have agreed to the following: Kevin will retain sole legal and physical custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James. Britney will continue to have visitation rights which may increase over time. Kevin is ecstatic and the boys are thriving.”

Insiders claim doctors told the star that she’s anaemic and needs time off. “One of her closest pals says she has never seen Madonna so low,” a source claims. “She has been feeling low and looking really gaunt. Madonna was told to go soft on work and rehearsals, so she will now take one proper day off every week and go easy in the mornings.”

Katie Price, better known as Jordan, confessed she doesn’t actually write her own books this week. Now the credited ‘author’ of three novels, which have sold more than 500,000 copies, Katie told the Daily Mail she’s too busy to actually write them herself. “I\'m not going to lie, I don\'t sit there with a typewriter and write it, of course I don\'t,” she explained. “I don\'t have time to do that. I say how I want the storyline to be, each chapter is done, I read through it change it and then it goes away to be written. So I\'m not going to sit here and say I write it word by word because I\'d be lying. I actually say how I want the story and that\'s how it happens.” Like, duh!
