Madonna\'s official spokeswoman landed herself in hot water with the boss this week when she confirmed the singer will pay Guy Ritchie between £50-£60million in settlement of their divorce. Liz Rosenberg told the Associated Press that the couple\'s Wiltshire home was included in the amount and said, "I\'d assume it\'s one of the largest payouts ever in a divorce." However, later a joint statement was issued from Guy and Madonna calling Rosenberg’s remarks, “A misleading and inaccurate statement, specifically in relation to the sums of money involved.” Adding that, “The financial details of the settlement will remain private, save to say that both of us are happy.”

Mariah Carey added fuel to rumours that she’s expecting her first child by cancelling plans for a world tour an insider told the New York Daily News this week. "Costume designers and dancers were all called Wednesday and told the tour is off," the source explained. "Most were hysterically crying because they were relying on her for a pay check this holiday season." While US tabloids were quick to connect the cancellation to pregnancy rumours, a rep for Mariah set the record straight, "A tour was discussed, but nothing was confirmed," they explained. "I have not been told she\'s pregnant."

Just days after crowning Alexandra Burke this week’s champion Simon Cowell hinted he may leave the X Factor after the next series due to his other TV commitments. Simon currently appears as a judge on American Idol and Britain’s Got Talent as well ITV’s flagship talent show. “It looks like I\'m only going to be doing it until 2010. I\'ve really felt it this year. When you do three shows a year it\'s tiring and something\'s got to give,” he told Showbiz Spy. “I\'m contracted to do one more series and then I\'ll make a decision. I\'ll see how I feel in the New Year."

Angelina Jolie haven’t ruled out having any more children. Brad said being a father of six is “extraordinary” and hinted that he and partner Angelina Jolie may yet add to their brood. "It\'s chaos at times but there\'s also such joy in our house right now. I look down at the family and I see our boy from Vietnam [Pax] and our daughter from Ethiopia [Zahara] and our girl\'s from Namibia [Shiloh was born there] and our son who\'s from Cambodia [Maddox], and… they are all brothers and sisters, man. They are all the same blood," Brad told Hello! magazine. “It\'s a wonderful thing that we are able to do this because of the jobs we have and it\'s a selfish thing, too, because the rewards are extraordinary. "Britney is feeling the pressure more and more as she rehearses for the tour. She knows one slip-up and it could all be over for her because she will be crucified in the press. The controversial outcome of Saturday’s Strictly Come Dancing semi-final was “unforgivable” a BBC spokesman said this week. During last weekend’s show judges awarded equal points to both Rachel Stevens and Lisa Snowdon meaning Holby City star Tom Chambers couldn’t avoid a dance off regardless of the viewer vote. Producers deemed this unfair and decided to let all three couples through to this weekend’s final prompting nearly 1,800 complaints from disgruntled viewers. "That\'s the unforgivable thing about this - we should\'ve seen it coming," Jon Beazley, the BBC’s Head of Entertainment Productions, told BBC Breakfast. “The fact is we didn\'t so we\'re doing whatever we can now to sort it out."
