Queen of Pop Madonna and her film maker husband Guy Ritchie are to divorce. Madonna’s long-term publicist Liz Rosenberg confirmed the split in a short statement e-mailed to press. “Madonna and Guy Ritchie have agreed to divorce after seven and a half years of marriage,” the statement reads. "They have both requested that the media maintain respect for their family at this difficult time." The announcement follows months of speculation about the state of the couple’s marriage. In July, Rosenberg denied the pair were about to divorce and said their marriage did not "need saving" after rumours spread that Madonna was having a relationship with married baseball star Alex Rodriguez. In August Guy insisted everything was “fine” between the pair. Their last public appearance together was at last month\'s RocknRolla film premiere in London. The couple’s representatives also confirmed no settlement had yet been reached.

You\'re guarded. You have to be that way, so I\'m kind of stuck in this place and it\'s like: How do you deal? And you just cope, and that\'s what I do. I just cope with it, every day. I sit there and I look back and I\'m like, ‘I\'m a smart person. What the hell was I thinking?’” Britney releases her new album, Circus, on 2 December.

Lisa Marie and husband Michael Lockwood welcomed the girls, who were delivered by caesarean section, at the Los Robles Hospital in Thousand Oaks. The birth takes Elvis\' daughter\'s brood to four, she has two teenage boys from a previous relationship. “Lisa Marie is mom to four now! She’s feeling good, a little tired too," a source told Star magazine. "She is so happy and Michael is ecstatic. He’s wanted to be a dad for so long. This is his dream come true. There was no drama. The babies are healthy and beautiful."  Lisa has named the twins Finley and Harper.
