Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, Victoria and David Beckham’s sons, persuaded their mother to make her recent American Idol appearance, Hello magazine claim. “Victoria has been courted by the show for the last few seasons but her schedule has never permitted her to do it before - her sons are big fans of American Idol and that’s what persuaded her to do it,” a source explained, adding, “There’s a chance she may do a second show later but that is not confirmed.” However, initial reviews of Victoria’s debut performance on the show described the former Spice Girl as “icy and wooden”.
