Victoria Beckham is set to replace Paula Abdul as a judge on American Idol, the Daily Mirror report. Yesterday, Abdul announced on her Twitter blog that she was leaving the show and sources say head judge Simon Cowell has acted quickly to replace her. Victoria has agreed to appear in two shows, earning a whopping £155,000 per appearance, but insiders say she will now join remaining judges Randy Jackson, Kara DioGuardia and Cowell for the whole series. "Victoria is hugely flattered as this is one of the highest profile gigs in America. It really is a big deal," a source explained. "Her husband David may be getting a bit of stick at the moment but Victoria's profile Stateside has never been higher. Network bosses would love to give her the job full-time and it looks like it's there if she wants it." So far, Victoria's camp have made no official comment.
