Radio and TV presenter Vernon Kay started his weekly Radio 1 show with an apology after admitting that he sent flirty texts to a Page 3 girl.

Vernon Kay began his BBC Radio 1 with an apology to his wife, Tess Daly, for recent reports about his private life. Last week, Kay admitted exchanging explicit text messages with four women, including Page 3 girl Rhian Sugden. "I've disappointed and let down a lot of people," Kay said. "To my family and everybody, I'm very sorry."
