Stephanie Meyer has announced her next book will be available free on her website. The Short Second Life Of Bree Tanner is a new novella told from the point of view of Bree, a character originally featured in the third Twilight book, Eclipse. "You all have bought a ton of my books, and I wanted to give you this story as a gift," Meyer said in a post on her official site. "I'd always considered The Short Second Life Of Bree Tanner as something for the fans. They have been so supportive of all things Twilight. Actually, this has been a surprise to me too. The reason why it's a surprise was that I never intended to publish this story as a stand-alone book. I began this story a long time ago before Twilight was even released."
