The it-girl, who also dabbles with TV presenting, was interviewing the SexyBack singer at the Brit Awards ceremony in London when the pair found themselves in the awkward situation.
Although being locked in a cupboard with Justin might be many-a-girl's idea of heaven, 36-year-old Tara said that she was frightened and embarrassed by the experience.
She explained: 'I was interviewing Justin but because it was noisy, I told him to move into a quieter area.
'Then I discovered I'd pulled him into a cupboard and locked us in. We were panicking actually.
'Someone eventually let us out and he couldn't get away from me fast enough.'
