If someone had told you six months ago that the Spice Girls would be working for Tesco this Christmas you might have been forgiven for thinking it was behind the counter. But after reuniting for their sell-out gigs, the girls are have agreed to front the supermarket's yuletide campaign. Needless to say they haven't done it just for the love of it. "It's an amazingly lucrative deal for the girls, and Tesco are thrilled as it's a real coup," said a source close to the girls. The ads themselves are said to feature the Spice Girls taking the mickey out of themselves. They beat us to it.
