Stars from the stage and screen have paid tribute to Natasha Richardson who died tragically after a skiing accident in Canada. “She was a wonderful woman and actress and treated me like I was her own,” Lindsay Lohan, who starred alongside Natasha in The Parent Trap, said in statement adding, “I didn’t see much of her over the years but I will miss her." Director Sam Mendes, who worked with the actress on an award-winning Broadway production of Cabaret called the star “a magnificent actress” and said, “It defies belief that this gifted, brave, tenacious, wonderful woman is gone." Dame Judi Dench, who attended drama school with Natasha’s mother Vanessa Redgrave, paid tribute to her “luminous quality and great sense of humour”. While Kevin Spacey told the BBC, “Her passion, devotion and talent will forever be etched on those who saw her work on the stage. There are no words to express how tragic Natasha Richardson's untimely passing is for the theatre community.”
