They might bang on about girl power and friendships never ending but the Spice Girls have admitted they never got over Geri leaving the group in 1998 mid way through a world tour. "When Geri left, it was really difficult for all of us. But we had the American leg of the tour to fulfil,” Posh explained. “We were devastated. The Spice Girls is about five girls." Though the band soldiered on for another two years, they never reached the same heights as a four piece and Geri knows she’s got some making up to do. She said: "I'm sorry. I'm making amends this time.” We all know of course that all Geri will really be doing is flexing her abs and miming but in her own special way we’re sure that means something!
