Transformers star Shia LaBeouf has pleaded not guilty in a Californian court to a charge of breaking a smoking ban. The 21-year-old was said to have been caught smoking outside a LA drug store earlier this week and ordered to court to face the charge in court on Tuesday. However an arrest warrant was issued after neither LaBeouf or his lawyer showed up to court. Yesterday a lawyer entered the not guilty on behalf of the actor who now has to appear in court again on 24 April. Incredibly, if found guilty he could face up to six months in jail. It's not Shia's first brush with the law, in November he was arrested for trespassing and appearing drunk at Walgreen's Store in Chicago. He later described the incident as "complete and utter insanity".
