Sharon Osbourne has taken to her Twitter blog to apologise to Britain’s Got Talent star Susan Boyle. Earlier this month Sharon slated Boyle’s appearance during an interview on Sirius XM Radio. "God gave her the talent. Yes he did," Sharon told hosts Opie and Anthony when asked for her views on Boyle. "And then he hit her with a f**king ugly stick."
However, Sharon has said she’s sorry for “getting a cheap laugh" at the Scottish singer's expense. "Susan Boyle is a lovely gracious woman and I took advantage of that by poking fun at her,” Sharon tweeted. "I would never want to be responsible for hurting Susan and I must apologise for getting a cheap laugh at her expense."
